IMMEASURABLE PEACE
SCRIPTURE
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7).
WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT
Obviously, there are many things in this life that come to rob us of that sense of peace and tranquility we all crave. It can be anything from just a very busy schedule and family demands to the trials and storms of life. What we need to know is that it is not God’s will for us to live in constant distress. Jesus said that He would give us His peace and therefore we should not allow our heart to be troubled (see John 14:27). This reveals that when our life feels surrounded by chaos and storms it’s the work of the enemy. We need to exert our faith on the fact that living in peace is a God-given promise. That doesn’t mean we never face challenges, but it does mean our lives should not be governed by chaos. If you are facing an attack on your peace today, rise up and speak to it. Command every storm to cease and for the chaotic circumstances to settle!
