MENTAL OPPRESSION IS BOUND
SCRIPTURE
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds (Hebrews 12:2-3).
WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT
Emotions are powerful. They are wonderful because they allow us to feel joy and good feelings. Contrarily, they can also impact us with feelings of despair and make us believe things that aren’t true. The enemy loves to capitalize on our negative emotions to discourage our faith and purpose. He uses such emotions to wear us down. If we don’t deal with these emotions we can eventually become mentally oppressed, where we struggle to see any positive future. Thinking about Jesus and declaring His Name will help you overcome mental oppression. Consider today all that He endured to obtain victory on your behalf. When we think about Jesus in this way, we can’t help but see a victorious outcome and mental oppression will have to flee!
