A WORD IN YOUR MOUTH
SCRIPTURE
Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man (Colossians 4:6).
WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT
Knowing what to say and having the right words for others, especially when they ask hard questions, isn’t always easy from a natural perspective. We can sometimes feel concerned about what to say or how to give a proper biblical perspective. What we can have confidence in is knowing that the Holy Spirit within will fill our mouth whenever we need to speak for the Lord (see Luke 12:12). This means we can rely on a special anointing that teaches us what to say and how to say it when a situation arises. If we practice ensuring that we choose our words carefully and use them for God’s purposes, then we can trust that He will give us what to say in every situation!
